        From now on I will carry most of the commissions & original drawings for sale with the gallery owners Corner4Art of Barcelona. Of course, I will continue the deal with my own clients and I will continue to sell my original drawings to the public, at the festivals where I go. 
       But I put into the hands of Corner4Art the management of orders and auctions of my original work in Catawiki. 
      Here you have a first sample of the material that I do exclusively for them, mainly drawings of American comic book characters, in size A4 and A3, and color or black & white.

    A partir de ahora voy a llevar la mayor parte de encargos de dibujos originales y la venta de originales míos a través de los galeristas Corner4Art de Barcelona. Por supuesto, voy a continuar la relación con mis propios clientes y voy a seguir vendiendo mis dibujos originales para el público en los festivales a donde voy. 
    Pero me pongo en manos de Corner4Art para que me gestionen los encargos de dibujos y también las subastas de obra original mía en Catawiki.

KIRBY & ME

     I recently joined the KIRBY & ME project, organized from France through this website: http://www.kirbyandme.com/

     This is an edition tribute to Jack Kirby, to commemorate the 100 years of the birth of the King of Comics, created by crowdfunding campaign. We have participated more than 150 authors from all over the world.

    Here I present my contribution, the remake of a famous cover of Kirby, which made for The Avengers # 4. I have taken my drawing more towards Kirbynian style (he was one of my biggest influences when I was young) and I added a Local element to the background, replacing the New York skyline with the Sagrada Familia of Barcelona ..

   The color is made by Diego L. Parada. Here I present all the stages of realization of this drawing, from the black and white to the final color. And you can also see at the end, the original version of the cover.

    Recientemente me he unido al proyecto KIRBY & ME, organizado desde Francia través de ésta página web:

   Se trata de una edición homenaje a Jack Kirby, para conmemorar los 100 años del nacimiento del Rey del Cómic, creada mediante campaña de crowdfunding.

   Hemos participado más de 150 autores de todo el mundo. Os presento aquí mi aportación, el remake de una famosa portada de Kirby, la que hizo para The Avengers # 4. He llevado mi dibujo más hacia el estilo Kirbyniano (él fué una de mis mayores influencias cuando yo era joven) y he añadido un elemento local al fondo, sustituyendo el skyline de New York por la Sagrada Familia de Barcelona..

  El color esta hecho por Diego L. Parada. Aquí os presento todas las etapas de realización del dibujo, desde el blanco y negro hasta el color final. Y podéis ver también al final la versión original de la portada.

     Voici le step by step pour le dessin de couverture de l´album HISTOIRES DE PILOTES-T9 - Georges Guynemer.

     Au premier lieu on vous montre les 2 roughs (les deux à la taille A3) que j´ai fait en recherche couverture, en suivant les idées de mon scénariste Eric Stoffel:

     On a tranché pour la première compo (le premier dessin, le plus en haut).
     On décalque après, toujours avec plusieurs ajustements para rapport au rough.
    Voici ce que ça donne la version crayonné sans foncer:

         On fonce et on finie le trait (crayonné foncé, pas encrage):

      Mème avant passer à la colo numérique, Eric Stoffel nous a fait ce essai en guide palette couleurs:


       

On vous montrera ensuite le WIP de la mise aux couleurs faite par Diego L. Parada.

HISTOIRES DE PILOTES-T9 - Guynemer

 
       Je travaille à fond sur la réalisation de mon nouveau album BD, le Tome 9 HISTOIRES DE PILOTES - Georges Guynemer.
      Au scénario Eric Stoffel, à la couleur Diego L. Parada, aux éditions IDÉES PLUS, collection Plein Vol dans la série Histoires de Pilotes.
      Ce qu´on raconte dans l´album c´est la bio de Georges Guynemer, l' un des pilotes de guerre français les plus renommés de la Première Guerre mondiale.

      On peut déjà vous montrer la couverture et on vous montrera bientôt le WIP de la réalisation de la couverture et quelques planches en preview.

      Album en réalisation et à paraitre en 2017.

    Estoy trabajando a tope en mi nuevo álbum francés, el Tomo 9 HISTOIRES DE PILOTES - Georges Guynemer.
    Al guión Eric Stoffel, al color Diego L. Parada, con el editor IDÉES PLUS, colección Plein Vol y dentro de la serie Histoires de Pilotes.
    El álbum cuenta la biografía de Georges Guynemer, uno de los ases del aire franceses más famosos de la Primera Guerra Mundial.

    Ya podeís ver aquí la portada definitiva. Pronto veréis el WIP de la realización de esta portada y algunas páginas en preview.

    Álbum en realización, para salida prevista en 2017.
