          Some very special dedications recently made on copies of my new artbook The Super Villains and other books of mine.

        Here you have Madelyne Pryor the Goblin Queen and this beautiful Dragon in two copies of the Classic Edition of my previous artbook Legendary Heroes

ARTBOOKS Dedicated Drawings 2023-24 (IV)

 

             Some very special dedications recently made on copies of my new artbook The Super Villains and other books of mine. They are drawings dedicated to collaborators who have participated in these works. 

         Here you have this Baron Harkonnen for the great Kevin J. Anderson, who wrote the preface to my artbook The Super Villains. Kevin has continued the Dune literary saga for more than 20 years together with Brian Herbert.

               This drawing of the character Midna from the Zelda universe is for Niina Xan, who has worked on the color of many of the illustrations for The Super Villains. In addition to being a colorist, Niina is also a illustrator and creator of her own universe.

                 This Jabba drawing is for Nuria Sayago, another of my colorists on The Super Villains. Nuria has a long career as a colorist in the Franco-Belgian market.

                This other copy of The Super Villains is dedicated to the model Seffy Moon, who has been collaborating with me for a long time on illustrations and covers.

Old Stuff: LE CHANT DES ELFES - Ex-libris

 

             Here you have several ex-libris from the Le Chant des Elfes series, which were published in France in a limited edition, signed and numbered. The color of these 3 editions is made by Max.

         Aquí tenéis varios ex-libris de la serie Le Chant des Elfes, que se editaron en Francia en tirada limitada, firmada y numerada. El color de éstas 3 ediciones esta hecho por Max.

LE CHANT DES ELFES - Intégral Cover

 

       Je vous présente le travail fait pour la couverture du intégral Le Chant des Elfes. C´est un new projet qui est sorti après que le scénariste de la série Bruno Falba et moi-même nous avons obtenu la restitution des droits d'exploitation de la série, initialement publiée dans la collection Soleil Celtic de chez Soleil (série finie le 2010).

     Pendant ce temps Bruno a fait création des Éditions Falba. Alors c´est avec son maison édition qu´on veut sortir notre intégral qui réunira pour la première fois les 3 tomes en un, avec des extra matériel inédite et en édition limitée.

     Bien que nous n'ayons pas encore de date de publication, on vous montre par ici les roughs pour la couverture, le noir & blanc finale et la mise aux couleurs faite par Nuria Sayago. Comme vous pouvez le constater c´est une couverture très spécial car en raison du concept de fond doré, nous avons dû travailler avec les personnages séparément de l'arrière-plan.

      Os presento el trabajo realizado para la portada del integral Le Chant des Elfes. Se trata de un proyecto surgido después de que el guionista de la serie Bruno Falba y yo obtuvimos la restitución de los derechos de explotación de la serie, inicialmente publicada en la colección Soleil Celtic de Soleil (serie terminada el 2010).

      Durante este intervalo Bruno ha creado Le Éditions Falba. Así es con su editorial que queremos publicar el integral que reunirá por primera vez los 3 tomos en uno, con material extra inédito y en edición limitada.

      Aunque aún no tenemos fecha de publicación, os muestro aquí los bocetos para la portada, el blanco y negro final y el color hecho por Nuria Sayago. Como podéis ver, esta portada es muy especial porque debido al concepto del fondo dorado hemos tenido que trabajar con los personajes por separado del fondo.

       3 dedicatorias hechas recientemente en cada uno de los 3 tomos de mi serie francesa Le Chant des Elfes para un amigo que me lo había pedido hace un tiempo.

            Voici la couverture pour la Limited Edition du T3 Le Chant des Elfes aux Pays-Bas, avec Dark Dragon Books: tirage en tête 300 exemplaires avec couverture alternative et un beau extra 16 planches Making off,  avec des recherches personnages, dessins recherches couvertures et plusieurs illustrations inédites aux couleurs de Max & Nuria Sayago

          SORTIE: Mars prochain, au même temps que l´édition Coffret aux 3 tomes qu´on vous a montré aux posts précédents.
