RED SONJA Color by Cris Ortega-Step by Step

    I present here this new collaboration with my friend Cris Ortega. as the color artist in this illustration Red Sonja, probably use it as cover in a future edition, of which I will speak soon.

Os presento aquí esta nueva colaboración con mi amiga la ilustradora Cris Ortega, como colorista de esta ilustración Red Sonja, que probablemente utilizaremos como portada en una futura edición, de la que pronto os hablaré.

SPARTACUS Unpublished Illustration

       This is a job a few years ago. It was a test for a product related to the third season of "Spartacus" series: Spartacus Vengeance 
       As this will not be finally reached and also enough time has passed, I think I can show here the various stages of this illustration.
          Of course, you had to use photographic references of the actors in the series, in this case Lyam McIntyre, so here is the photo I used.
          Nuria Sayago is the color artist. Here you can see two slightly different versions of the final color: one one with the less marked stroke and other with stroke "comic-book" style.

       Este es un trabajo de hace unos años. Era un test para un producto relacionado con la tercera temporada de la serie "Spartacus": Spartacus Vengeance.

    Como esto no llegó finalmente a hacerse y que además ya ha pasado tiempo suficiente, creo que puedo mostrar por aquí las diversas etapas de esta ilustración.

  Por supuesto, había que utilizar referencias fotográficas de los actores de la serie, en éste caso Lyam McIntyre, así que aquí tenéis la foto que utilicé.

     Nuria Sayago es la colorista. Aquí podéis ver 2 versiones ligeramente diferentes del color final: una con el trazo menos marcado y la otra en estilo trazo "cómic".

CHARACTERS Search (4)

 More searches of characters & costumes for a another unpublished project (from 2012). Color versions are made by Yuri Shepherd. The female character is inspired from the model Seffana (of course!)
Although this project is stopped for now, I really like the visual result of these searches and I think I can teach some of this drawings here. Enjoy !

  Más estudios de vestuario y caracterización para los personajes de otro proyecto inédito (de 2012). El color es de Yuri Shepherd. La modelo del personaje femenino es Seffana (¡como no!) Aunque éste proyecto esta parado, los diseños me gustan mucho y creo que se pueden mostrar por aqui. Enjoy !
