STALAG-X Work on pages Issue #3

    I want to show here some details of my work in the pages of the STALAG-X series, completed several months ago. 
Throughout the entire performance of the series, I had excellent communication with the two American writers Kevin J. Anderson & Steven L. Sears, which is essential to ensure that the series works well to visual / narrative level.

    Here is an example in these two consecutive pages of Issue # 3. 
You can see the first Storyboard versions, where there have been some changes suggested by Kevin & Steven.

    Also you can see the finish line versions (Enhanced Inks = Photoshop Adjustments That allow 100% quality "ink", slightly increase increasing the intensity of the pencil) and finally the color of Angelina Lim & Skye Ogden

STALAG-X - Alien races: the Malta

     

      I present here one of the first designs for another alien races of Stalag X series: the Malta,  bipeds, looking like a cross between a Ray Harryhausen creation and a bird of prey.
         First appearance: Issue # 3.

                 
           This was my first graphic interpretation for the Malta race, and the color version by Max.

STALAG-X - Exclusive Variant Cover

             I present here the step by step of the variant cover for Issue # 1 STALAG-X Special edition for the Denver Comic-Con.

         1- First, two pencil roughs which are a variant of the idea that I got the writers of the series Kevin J. Anderson & Steven L. Sears

     

2- The last rough was chosen as the final composition of the cover. Here you have the traced pencil version, with some adjustments over the rough.

3- This is the final black & white version !

4- And the color version by Angelina Tan.
