      During the festival tour of French Brittany, I had a beautiful exhibition of originals and color prints at the art gallery in the city of Erquy. 

      The exhibition brings together material from my latest artbooks Legendary Heroes and The Super Villains

LES ANNEAUX DE MIKE RATERA - Expo

 

              Los 19 y 20 de noviembre próximo voy a tener ésta exposición El Señor de los Anillos en el festival Bédéciné en Illzach. Es la primera vez que se va a exponer todo el material que realicé en 2015 para el proyecto de adaptación de la obra de Tolkien en cómic con la editorial Harper Collins, que es quién ostenta los derechos de la obra de Tolkien a nivel mundial. El proyecto quedó detenido, pero sigo estando muy orgulloso de todo lo que dibujé, acompañado del color de Yuri Shepherd.

        Les 19 et 20 novembre, je présenterai cette exposition Le Seigneur des Anneaux au festival Bédéciné d'Illzach. C'est la première fois que sera exposé tout le matériel que j'ai réalisé en 2015 pour le projet d'adaptation de l'œuvre de Tolkien en BD avec l'éditeur Harper Collins, qui détient les droits mondiaux de l'œuvre de Tolkien. Le projet a été arrêté, mais je suis toujours très fier de tout ce que j'ai dessiné, accompagné de la couleur de Yuri Shepherd

       Next November 19 and 20 I will have this exhibition The Lord of the Rings at the Bédéciné festival in Illzach. It is the first time that all the material I drew in 2015 for the project of adapting Tolkien's universe in comics with the publisher Harper Collins, who holds the rights to Tolkien's work worldwide, will be exhibited for the first time. The project was stopped, but I'm still very proud of everything I drew, with the color by Yuri Shepherd.

ARNOLD - CONAN Color WIP

          Aquí podéis ver la versión color de mi ilustración Arnold Schwarzenegger/Conan con la que participé en la exposición colectiva #ConanPincelesBárbaros en el Arnold Classic Europe  hace unos meses. La exposición esta organizada por la Asociación Española de Amigos del Cómic.

       El color está realizado por Miren Pijuan y aquí podéis ver varias etapas de su trabajo.

     Here you can see the color version of my illustration Arnold Schwarzenegger/Conan with which I participated in the collective exhibition #ConanPincelesBárbaros in the Arnold Classic Europe a few months ago. The exhibition is organized by Asociación Española de Amigos del Cómic.

CONAN Pinceles Bárbaros (2)

     Con motivo de la celebración en Barcelona del Arnold Classic Europe los amigos de la Asociación Española de Amigos del Cómic organizan una espectacular exposición homenaje a Conan/Arnold Schwarzenegger bajo el título #CONANPincelesBarbaros

     He querido hacer 2 ilustraciones para éste evento. En el post anterior habéis visto una de ellas:

   Y aquí os presento la ilustración que he escogido para participar en la exposición, que representa a Arnold/Conan en un plano más cercano, lo que le dará mayor visibilidad en el espacio de la Expo.

      Para éste evento me he planteado 2 ilustraciones en blanco y negro, de las cuales una irá a la exposición. 
    Ésta primera ilustración representa a Arnold/Conan en cuerpo entero, en pose de acción y rodeado de algunos elementos como el estandarte de la doble serpiente de Thulsa Doom. 
    Aquí podéis ver 3 etapas de trabajo de ésta ilustración, realizada con técnicas de lápiz como arte final y en tamaño A3.
