Old Works : LA RESIDENCIA

 

    

             Después de la Serie Chris, La Residencia fue siguiente saga para la que trabajé en la Sado Collection de M.S.G. Ediciones, aunque solamente llegué a hacer las ilustraciones del primer volumen. Reconozco que me lo pasé mucho mejor con el acabado a lápiz tan detallado que hice aquí. Además estos dibujos presentaban decorados y una gran variedad de personajes, incluido el trío de sádicos con aire británico que dirige el centro donde se desarrolla la historia.. Pero esta fue mi última participación en Sado Collection, tenía otros trabajos delante que me interesaban más.

            Como he comentado en las entradas anteriores esto fue un trabajo puramente alimenticio, de encargo. Las ilustraciones las hice con técnica de lápiz, sin entintado. El escaneado lo he tenido que hacer directamente de las versiones editadas en papel, porque el editor se quedaba con todo el material gráfico en propiedad, iba incluido en el precio.

          After the Chris series, La Residencia was the next saga I worked on for the Sado Collection from M.S.G. Ediciones, although I only ended up doing the illustrations for the first volume. I admit I had much more fun with the detailed pencil work I did there. These drawings also featured settings and a wide variety of characters, including the trio of sadists with a British air who run the center where the story takes place. But this was my last contribution to the Sado Collection; I had other projects ahead of me that interested me more.

           As I mentioned in previous posts, it was purely a work-for-hire job, a commission. I did the illustrations in pencil, without inking. I had to scan them directly from the printed versions because the publisher kept all the artwork; it was included in the price.
